92 points Tim Atkin, MW (Jan 2017).
91-92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "($67 list; tasted from tank; from a hillside site rich in white marl soil): Bright, light yellow. Musky lemon and lime aromas are complicated by white flowers and chalk. Densely flavored and intense, showing inviting sweetness to its peach and pear fruit flavors. A nicely bracing wine with the added thickness of the year. Finishes tactile and quite long. These vines are planted at a density of 14,000 per hectare, vs. 30,000 for the special Haute Densité bottling. (Sep 2017)"
90-92 points and 'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .95 ha parcel planted in 1960). This is the freshest wine in the range, which is not surprising given its position on the hillside, with its attractively cool, pure and elegant aromas of red cherry, anise, spiced tea and ample floral elements. There is terrific delineation to the vibrant and intensely stony medium weight flavors that exhibit excellent persistence on the lingering and restrained finale. This is really very good though it's going to require at least some bottle age to unwind and flesh out. Drink: 2022+. (Jun 2017)"
91 points William Kelley (Decanter): "The most elegant of Lamy's reds, this is another delicious cuvée, bursting with creamy black raspberry, plum and woodsmoke, with a refined, mineral and cool palate impression. Drinking Window: 2022-2040. (Jan 2017)"
