92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Saint-Aubin Clos de Meix 1er Cru has a livewire bouquet with wonderful definition and energy - linear, the chalky terroir coming through with aeration. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, a judicious touch of sour lemon commingling with bruised apple and pear, lemongrass enlivening the persistent finish. Excellent. Drink: 2025-2040. (Jan 2023)"

92 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos du Meix wafts from the glass with aromas of pear, orange zest, crisp green apple, freshly baked bread, white flowers and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's unusually fleshy for this site, located below Derrière Chez Edouard, but it retains good cut and chalky grip. (1/31/23)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(0.7 metres planting distance here – so 14,000/ha planting density. Vines are sited below the church.) An attractively vibrant width of florals and minerality. Ooh – direct, mineral but with a complexity of juicy citrus to largely balance any austerity – that’s a great sweeping mouthful of wine – a touch of chalky finishing texture too – bravo! (12/23/23)"
