94 points/'5 Star Wine,' Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Purchased in 2012 after which Olivier interplanted extra vines to bring the density up to 20,000. 100% whole bunch vinification. Mid ruby with some density. What a magical nose! Alpine strawberries, the finest raspberries you can imagine, with delicacy and intensity together. This is quite remarkable, with effortless length. Drink from 2028-2037. Tasted Nov 2024."

93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Gravières is especially appealing this year, bursting with aromas of pear, sweet citrus rind and stone fruit mingled with hints of freshly baked bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, combining attractive mid-palate amplitude with excellent cut, it's one of the sleepers of the range. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jan 2025)"

91 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Santenay Clos des Gravières Blanc adeptly articulates the chalky soils in the vineyard. Touches of fresh pear and Granny Smith emerge from the bouquet with time. The palate is citrus-fresh with veins of apricot and white peach. It's very peppery toward the finish that fans out with a bit of chutzpah. Drink: 2026-2035. (Jan 2025)"

90 points/'Very Good,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Santenay Graviere is another style of wine … saline and quite muscular and can go with even denser food. It is not as refined as the Puligny Tremblot, but it has an energy and persistent force that makes it very charming. Deep and quite elegant with its fascinating salinity. Drink from 2031. (1/15/25)"

90 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(a .28 ha clos with vines that average <45 years of age and are planted at a density equivalent to 20,000 per ha or double the normal amount). This is also quite floral in character with ripe but nicely fresh aromas of airy red berries and crushed anise nuances. There is evident minerality suffusing the delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors that display better length on the overtly austere, firm and built-to-age finale. This possesses solid aging potential but note that it's sufficiently austere that it will probably not drink especially well young. Drink: 2032+. (Apr 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Very young vines in a sort of continuation of the Clos de Tavannes. A mix of two vine-ages, one large part (actually 90%) only 12 years old. “Historically, in Santenay they planted what they could sell – so there was a lot of red – the white plantations were often for personal consumption but seemingly in soils that were properly suited to white.”) A width of aroma here but with high and low tones too – a wide, vertical nose ?? Like the Tremblots, this is incisive and in this case extra mineral too. Super finishing intensities – love that slightly strict finish, slightly chalky in this finish too. (1/16/25)"
