90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Santenay Les Gravières 1er Cru has quite an intense bouquet with liquorice-tinged citrus fruit, one of Lamy's 'feisty' 2020s. The palate is pithy with plenty of extract, a texturally satisfyingly Santenay rather than one with overt fruit, something almost Rhône-like towards the finish. An intriguing prospect. Drink: 2025-2038. (Jan 2023)"
90 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A fresh, cool and citrusy nose features ripe aromas of various white fleshed fruit. There is both a lovely sense of verve and texture to the medium weight flavors that terminate in a clean, dry and saline-infused finale. This attractive effort could be enjoyed young or held for up to a decade. Drink: 2027+. (Jun 2023)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Very young vines in a sort of continuation of the Clos de Tavannes. A mix of two vine-ages, one large part (actually 90%) only 10 years old. “Historically, in Santenay they planted what they could sell – so there was a lot of red – the white plantations were often for personal consumption but seemingly in soils were properly suited to white.”) A more floral width of aroma here – really a beauty. Such incisive freshness yet width of supple, fresh, energetic flavour. Really broad finishing – a great Santenay Blanc – bravo!(12/23/23)"
