89-91 points and 'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Once again there is a really lovely freshness to the nose that offers up distinctly pepper and earth-suffused aromas of similar dark currant and smoked meat nuances though here there is more spice. There is even better volume to the more powerful and slightly denser middle weight plus flavors that culminate in a sappy finish that delivers very fine depth and length for a villages level Chassagne. This should also drink reasonably well young yet easily repay mid-term cellaring. Drink: 2022+. (Apr 2017)"
90 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "From vines planted in 1950, the La Goujonne reveals a nose of black cherry, cassis, dark chocolate and soil, leading into a full-bodied palate framed by rich, firm tannins. Large-scaled and slightly rustic, this is a classic red Chassagne that needs time in the cellar to blossom. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Jan 2017)"
90 points Tim Atkin, MW (Jan 2017).
