91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Complanted to 20,000 vines per hectare by doubling the number of plants in each row. There is a steely and fractionally reduced nose. The palate combines a richness of flesh with impressive tension, before fattening out significantly at the back. (Oct 2019)"

90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This too is notably floral in character with a bit more citrus influence on the mostly green apple scents. There is fine richness to the moderately dense medium weight flavors that possess excellent length and good but not special depth. However, there appears to be enough underlying material that more complexity will almost certainly develop with time in bottle, particularly since this appears to have an extended aging curve. Drink: 2028+. (Jun 2020)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Red soil but vines virtually rooted on the mother rock, young vines. Some co-planted HD ‘so I see a small change each year’ says Olivier.) Very faint reduction but a silky depth to this nose anyway. Lots of gas but energy and clarity combine again here. Really a concentration that rests very long on the palate. Pure and incredibly persistent – like this, the bottle should last longer! (12/19/19)"
