94-96 points Fine Wine Review: "This wine surpassed my expectations and entered into stunning territory. The wine is rich and unctuous with minerality, dension, and depth. (2/28/25)"

95 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Jacques Devauges said there was very little sorting needed here in 2023. This crystalline pure wine rears from the glass with sweet spring blooms and apple strudel. Gentle, glossy extract on the palate is supported by steely pillars of highly charged acidity. This vibrates on the palate! As in recent years, Jacques is continuing with two winters of elevage here. These 50-year-old vines sitting in brown marls. (2025)"

94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "In Puligny, Les Folatières has progressed in purity and precision, quite radiant in its lemony and fresh bouquet. (2026)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid yellow in colour. The fruit is bright, lively and fairly concentrated, summer flowers, with major intensity at the front of the palate and good acidity behind. Not too overtly fleshy but a good concentration of fruit and a light reduction to finish along with some ripe citrus notes. Promising. (Nov 2024)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru has a fresh nose with lime and apple blossom, not intense, yet well defined. The palate is smooth on the entry with subtle tropical tones, fine acidity, light spice notes and a touch of honey on the finish. This will make a fine early-drinking Puligny. Drink: 2027-2039. (Jan 2025)"

90-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .29 ha parcel). Attractively fresh, bright and vaguely exotic aromas include those of white and yellow peach, passion fruit, orange peel and a whiff of lemon confit. There is fine volume to the rich, generous and succulent medium weight flavors that are supported by citrus-tinged acidity on the balanced, stony and long finish. This does need better depth though so at least a few years of keeping are recommended. Drink: 2028+. (Jan 2025)"
