99 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "More depth and energy in La Richemone, touched by grace, grandiose and baroque, which sends shivers down your spine: formal perfection, precise flavors, and innate elegance for this wine that will leave a lasting impression.(2026)"

97 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

94-96 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A dark ruby colour. The bouquet is not quite all apparent but suggests a vast intensity of fruit and a fair amount of spice. The fruit is nearer black than red and the whole bunch spice is really quite prominent but once you delve past these, the second half of the palate delivers the absolute majesty of this great vineyard. The slightest hint of fresh chocolate appears far back. One can see the volume of the vintage alongside the exceptional class of the vineyard and some pretty skilled winemaking. (Nov 2024)"

94-96 points Fine Wine Review: "Those who know the inside and outside of the Côte de Nuits know that Richemone is one of the great and underrated vineyards there. The wine is dark, round, pure, and enveloping with spices. 20% of the vines date to 1924. (2/28/25)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "There is almost a hectare of predominantly 99-year-old vines (Lambrays effectively owns half of the appellation), and they made a very Nuit-sian wine in 2023. Robust on the attack with broad, sinewy tannins that turn crispy on the heroically long finish, the supporting acidity stays in the wings. The fruit is much darker and more densely ripe than in 2022 with a gaggle of blackberries and black plums scented with North African spices and charred firewood. Warm iron minerality and whole bunch spice oozes into the finale. Give this upwards of a decade. (2025)"

94.3 points CellarTracker.com community score.

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges La Richemone 1er Cru includes 50% whole bunch (compare that to say, Pascal Mugneret, who used 100%). The bouquet is, again, quite stemmy at the moment, with dark berry fruit, stewed black tea, light forest floor scents and tobacco emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip on the entry. It is quite spicy and peppery, though the stems are nicely embroidered on the finish. Good potential. Drink: 2027-2045. (Jan 2025)"

92-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .89 ha holding of vines planted in 1924; 50% whole cluster). A more discreetly spiced and even more layered nose is composed by notes of rose petal, lavender, violet, black raspberry, red cherry liqueur and the barest hint of earth. There is again excellent volume and punch with a more subtle bead of minerality adds a sense of lift to the slightly more voluminous flavors that also flash focused power on the hugely long and equally structured finale. This is terrific and should age accordingly. Drink: 2033+. (Jan 2025)"
