96 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Smoother in its fruit and silky in its tannins, Clos Sorbé is also tighter in texture, but will go very far: patience is required. (2026)"

95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The Clos Sorbè is just across the street from the Clos Baulet, but the difference is striking. The soil has more iron and produces a wine with deeper colour and yet more red fruit than black, with aromas of ripe cherry and lavender. The texture is more ethereal, but there is still a lovely freshness and depth of flavour. The grapes are from the domaine’s 1.15 hectares here; the wine should be approachable earlier than the Clos Baulet – try a bottle in five years. Drinking Window: 2028-2060. (5/23/24)"

95 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

93-95 points Fine Wine Review: "Fresh, pure and lively wine with red fruits and minerality. One can feel the thin soils in the texture of the wine. Lambrays has 1.15 ha of the 3.30 ha Clos Sorbè vineyard. (2/28/25)"

93.7 points CellarTracker.com community score.

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Sorbet 1er Cru contains 50% whole bunch, which is much more integrated on the nose. Beautiful brambly red fruit, crushed stone and hints of freshly-rolled tobacco come through with time. Very finessed and mineral-driven, the palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, gradually building to a poised and persistent finish. This may eventually surpass the 2022. Drink: 2027-2044. (Jan 2024)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Clos Sorbè has a red soil in contrast to the brown earth of Clos Baulet. A dark crimson purple. Dark fruit in volume, concentrated, more tannins as well, a touch of iron in there, “tobacco and spices” offers Jacques. It is a bulkier style of wine all round, thus hiding the whole bunch more. Needs more elevage. (Nov 2024)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a total holding of 1.15 ha at the top of the vineyard; 50% whole clusters). This is aromatically bright, more elegant and just a bit fresher as well with its anise-tinged nose of dark berries, kirsch and violet. There is again good vibrancy and a sleek mouthfeel to the generous and succulent middle weight flavors that conclude in a firm, balanced and lingering finale. Clos Sorbé is almost always a wine of finesse and this fits that mold. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2025)"
