90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .58 ha parcel). A slightly more deeply pitched nose reflects notes of red and dark raspberry, poached plum, lavender, violet and a wide variety of spice elements. There is better volume and richness to the gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors that flash focused power on the firm, youthfully austere, serious and lingering finale. Good development potential here. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2022)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): " The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru doesn't seem to want to come out and play on the nose despite coaxing. Timid at the moment - surprising for this Premier Cru. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, here, the wine is more expressive. The whole bunch just comes through on the finish adding a soupçon of pepperiness. This should comes out of its shell...eventually. Drink: 2025-2040. (May 2022)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(“It’s because it’s in a hole that it’s only a 1er cru”). Here’s a higher-toned slightly more perfumed nose – really an exuberance here. Structural again, some fat on the bones – a wine that you can almost chew, yet, never heavy – there’s a caressing style all the same yet clearly for waiting a little longer. A core of sustaining flavour, almost saline, almost chocolate – wow impressive if clearly not quite ready! (9/17/21)"
