93 points/'Best Buy,' Wine & Spirits: "This is the flagship blend of the house, with fruit from the Côteaux Sud d’Epernay, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne. It’s 60 percent meunier, 30 percent chardonnay and 10 percent pinot noir; 40 percent of the blend is reserve wine. With its rose-pink color, red-apple fruit and spice, this tastes like a fresh red wine, its cool clarity enhanced by the pincushion of bubbles that tingle as the mineral flavors dive down through your mouth."

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The new release of Aurélien Laherte’s “Ultradition” non-vintage Extra Brut is crafted from a blend of sixty percent pinot meunier, thirty percent chardonnay. The vins clairs were partially barrel-fermented and raised in both foudres and Burgundy casks, with part of the still wines also not going through malolactic fermentation. It includes forty percent reserve wines and was disgorged in January of 2024 and finished with a dosage of 4.5 grams per liter. The wine delivers a beautiful bouquet of white peach, apple, lovely, delicate meunier floral tones, bread dough, chalky soil elements and incipient smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is bright, snappy and full-bodied, with good depth at the core, fine soil undertow, elegant mousse and a long, precise and complex, well balanced finish. This is a very good bottle of Extra Brut. 2025-2045+. (Mar/Apr 2025)"

92 points Claire Nesbitt (JamesSuckling.com): "Lovely orange and raspberry fruit on the nose, with some candied citrus and brioche. Very bright, fruity and full of joy, with lively acidity and fine bubbles. 60% meunier, 30% chardonnay and 10% pinot noir. Based on 2022, with 50% reserve wine. Disgorged December 2024. 4 g/L dosage. Drink now. (7/17/25)"

91 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in June 2024 with a dosage of four grams per liter, Laherte’s latest NV Extra-Brut Ultradition (2021 base) is produced from equal parts estate-grown and purchased fruit, sourced from the Coteaux Sud d’Épernay, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. Based on the 2021 vintage and incorporating 55% reserve wines from 2020 and 2019, this cuvée is composed of 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir. It opens in the glass to reveal expressive aromas of pear, brioche and orange zest. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and vibrant, marrying finesse with persistence, laden with mouthwatering acidity and culminating in a long, resonant finish. Drink: 2025-2032. (Jul 2025)"
