94+ points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "Laherte Freres Empreintes Extra Brut 2018 is a blend pf 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir fermented in neutral Burgundy barrels with regular lees stirring and partial malolactic fermentation. It was aged five years under cork and finished with a two grams per liter dosage. This Empreintes has an exotic slightly oxidative nose with ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, and honey. The light to medium-bodied palate has tremendous salinity, finely knit acidity and a lovely pinpoint mousse. It finishes fresh and elegantly. Bottle tasted was disgorged in November 2023. Alcohol 12.5%. Drink: 2024-2038. (12/18/24)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$120 list] The 2018 Extra Brut Les Empreintes, a blend of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, is especially fine. Tangerine peel, spice, dried flowers and a kiss of French oak lend notable textural resonance. This is one of the more overt, layered wines in the range. All the elements are so well balanced. The Empreintes is not the most complex wine from Laherte, but it is surely the most pleasurable. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 2023. Drink: 2024-2033. (Mar 2024)"

94 points James Suckling: "Restrained, fresh lime, with a lot of chalk, acacia honey and a touch of strawberry and butter. Super-fine mousse, crisp acidity, medium to full body and a long, polished finish. 50% pinot noir and 50% chardonnay and chardonnay muscate. Disgorged in 2023. Dosage 1 to 4g/L. Drink or hold. (7/19/24)"

93 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Finally, the 2018 vintage is perfectly mastered in Les Empreintes: Meunier currently dominates the nose, while Pinot Noir expresses itself more on the palate. This is a very fine wine for aging, still far from its peak—no need to rush. (2026)"

92 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "A blend of Pinot Noir from Les Rouges Maisons (planted in 1983) and Chardonnay from Les Chemins d’Épernay (planted in 1957), including some muscaté Chardonnay selections, the 2018 Extra-Brut Les Empreintes was disgorged in November 2023 with a dosage of 1.5 grams per liter. It soars from the glass with aromas of pear, orange zest and pastry. Full-bodied and muscular, it displays a rich, demonstrative core of fruit, supported by a spine of tangy acidity, with structuring phenolics that assert themselves on the long, subtly bitter finish. Drink: 2025-2034. (Jul 2025)"

92 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).

50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir. A champagne with a vinous, full, dense, spicy palate, but it remains fine and fresh.
