91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I really like the size and shape of the les Noizons chez Lafouge in the 2017 vintage. The nose is a pure and classy mix of red and black cherries, a touch of blueberry, gamebird, raw cocoa, dark soil tones, gentle smokiness and a topnote of violet. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, sappy and soil-driven, with ripe, well-integrated tannins, tangy acids and a long, properly structured and very nicely balanced finish. Good juice. 2025-2065. (Nov/Dec 2018)"
