91 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Lafarge has two plots in Volnay on the way to Meursault, co-planted with Pinot Noir and Gamay. The vines are more than 90 years of age and are picked and fermented, together: 'a real Passetoutgrain', according to Frédéric Lafarge. The result is aromatic and forward, with pretty floral notes on the nose, while on the palate there is more structure than you’d expect, even a slight astringency. Drinking Window: 2021-2029. (Oct 2020)"
