The bouquet is bright, pure and already marvelously expressive, offering up notes of black cherries, red plums, pigeon, chalky soil tones, woodsmoke, raw cocoa and a nice touch of vanillin oak. on the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, suave and sappy at the core, with excellent soil inflection, ripe, buried tannins, good acids and a very long, balanced and complex finish.
