89-91+ points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "The 2018 Albariño is a blended barrel sample, to be bottled in the next couple of months and released in the spring of 2020. It fermented without malolactic fermentation in neutral 228-liter barrels, 600-liter concrete eggs and one new cigar barrel. It has a fresh nose of lime peel, yeast, crushed stone, apricot, pear blossom and a hint of tangerine peel. Light to medium-bodied, it gives up oodles of citrus and a streak of crushed rock minerality, with tangy acidity and a long, vibrant, lime peel-tinged finish. 187 cases are expected to be produced. (Sep 2019)"
Producer notes: "100% Estate from certified organic (CCOF) vineyard. Alcohol 12.7%. 191 cases produced."
