93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This iconic wine was the start of the adventure for the Bret Brothers – their paternal grandfather purchased four hectares in Les Quarts just after the Second World War. The brothers have brought the land back to his time, organically and biodynamically farming the plot with a horse. The results are spectacular. The thin, rocky soils have delivered a wine with rich, exotic tropical fruit aromas with hints of coconut and beeswax. The texture is lively with bright acidity yet there is the weight and breadth here to suggest it can age for a decade or more—delicious wine. Drinking Window: 2025-2040. (Nov 2022)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat Les Quarts, which comes from the Bret's prized plots of 50-80 years old east-facing vines, has a beautifully-defined bouquet with light estuarine/oyster shell scents percolating through the malic fruit. The palate is very well balanced with plenty of substance (more than the preceding Longeays), fanning out wonderfully on the finish. Proper Pouilly-Fuissé. Drink: 2025-2042. (Aug 2023)"

93 points James Suckling: "Blanched almonds, lemon pith and white grapefruit on the nose, with some chalk. Deliciously mineral, intense and salty on the palate with a medium to full body. Lively acidity, but creamy and caressing at the same time. Drink now or hold. (11/13/23)"
