93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "North-east facing, 55 year old vines. The last to be picked usually, which was 2nd September in 2022. Mid lemon yellow. A clear cut, fractionally reductive, chiselled nose, all in white fruit. Electric and very Bret in style. A lovely fine fresh finish, very typical Vergisson. 13% alcohol. (Mar 2024)"
90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .7 ha parcel in Prissé). This is also so firmly reduced nothing is discernible. On the palate, the powerful and serious larger-bodied flavors possess outstanding concentration though not nearly the same minerality, all wrapped in a borderline aggressively citrus-inflected finish that might be a bit too much for some palates. Even so, this too is very good and I suspect that the citrus character will attenuate with time in bottle. Drink: 2028+. (Aug 2023)"
90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Climat En Chatenay Cuvée Zen has a little SO2 added just before bottling. I actually prefer this on the nose to the Au Vignerais cuvée since it has more terroir expression and is fresher and more saline. The palate is well-balanced, with a twist of sour lemon mixed with orange rind on the entry. It shows fine depth but is not as viscous as the Vignerais, though I find more complexity amongst the Domaine's Pouilly-Vinzelles this year. Drink: 2024-2034. (Aug 2024)"
