92 points Jane Anson (Inside Bordeaux): "(96% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc). Tannic heft and clear structure, a little austere but goes long on attractive violet and peony flowers that lift the palate and add complexity to the raspberry and black cherry fruits. Harvest september 24 to October 4, 8ha. Gravel over fine clay. Alcohol 13%. Drink: 2025-2038. (4/7/22)"
92 points Peter Moser (Falstaff): "Strong ruby core, purple reflections, bright broad rim. Inviting bouquet of nougat, ripe plums, with a delicate herbal savouriness. Juicy palate with sweet cherries, chocolate notes, fine tannins, freshly structured with an elegant finish. A sturdy companion to food. (5/27/22)"
92 points Jeff Leve (The Wine Cellar Insider): "Quite floral in nature, you also find black raspberries, cherries, licorice and plums with just a hint of chocolate. The medium-bodied wine is soft, supple, forward, fresh and frankly, charming, leaving you with loads of sweet, ripe, fresh, minty plums and chocolate. Drink from 2024-2037. (3/9/24)"

91 points Georgina Hindle (Decanter): "Creamy rose touched blackcurrants on the nose. Succulent and juicy on immediate impact, this has a sombre quality almost straight away, the dark liquorice, graphite and black chocolate lacing the black bramble fruits giving a sense of seriousness to it. It's linear with lots of tension, the flavours driving the wine from start to finish. You can feel the pent up energy here, excellently controlled, all in balance with these wonderful deep nuances giving structure and support. Drinking Window: 2024-2040.(Dec 2023)"
