94 points James Suckling: "Dried apple, lemon, honeysuckle and other flowers. Hints of honey and chalk, turning to nougat. Medium body. Crisp acidity. Drink now or hold. (4/2/23)"

90-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "The nose confirms that this could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its marked cool nose of citrus, apple, oyster shell, iodine and quinine. The sleek, intense and overtly mineral-driven middle weight flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying tension while delivering fine length. This will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my projected range, but it has the potential to be quite good with a few years of aging. Drink: 2025+. (Nov 2020)"

90 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Chablis L'Homme Mort 1er Cru has a clean, pure bouquet of fresh citrus fruit, apple blossom and flinty aromas that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is taut and fresh on the entry, offering white peach and traces of red apple. The spicy finish is not complex but delivers satisfying persistence. Drink: 2022-2032. (Oct 2021)"
