93 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "Ripe honeydew melon and mirabelle on the nose acquire pleasing counterpoint on a delicate palate by way of peel and pit piquancy. A hint of raw almond is complemented by the wine’s subtle suggestion of textural creaminess, yet there is also a sense of underlying firmness. Sweetness is discreet and perfectly judged to support the fruit, leading to a luscious, refreshing, tongue-quivering finish transparent to shimmeringly stony nuances. Given this dazzling performance, it was hardly surprising to hear Kühn opine that the 83 Oechsle at which these grapes were picked represents what he deems optimum for that genre. And I would add that while discretion in the matter of sweetness has resulted in 10% alcohol – higher than today’s Kabinett norm – the wine displays delightful levity. Drink: 2021-2034. (Apr 2021)"
