50% Arinarnoa, 50% Marselan. Each vintage is a different blend so there have subtle differences for this top cuvee over the years, but the constant is the Pyrenean grape Arinarnoa (a cross between Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon). Grapes are selectively handpicked, and the wine is aged in French oak for 24 months. It can be cellared for decades but they’re all ready to open now as the cuvee reveals its true potential after around 4 or 5 years of bottling. Make sure to decant it at least an hour before serving at room temperature. With intense aromas of dark wild berries, spice, licorice, fennel and carob, the unfiltered, full-bodied red is excellent for steak, rich mushroom pasta, or grilled lamb.
