98 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2008 base vintage; tasted in 2023 in France; 41% chardonnay, 51% pinot noir, 8% meunier; 10% red wine; 34% 2008 with an incredible 66% of reserves; 57 wines from 6 years from 2002 to 2008; disgorged summer 2016; ID 316033). The energy and poise of 2008 in dramatic contrast to the depth and complexity of a huge 66% of reserve wines makes for an incredible dynamic that underscores one of the greatest and most enduring Krug Rosés. The evolution of its hue to a medium salmon-copper anticipates its juxtaposing personalities, at once tangy and lively with pink grapefruit, strawberry hull and morello cherry, and at the same time deeply spicy and toasty, holding incredible persistence. Wait at least another ten years before indulging. An epic Krug Rosé that stands alongside the 2014 base of Édition 26 and the 2013 base of Édition 25 as the greatest of all. (Edition VII; 2024)"

97 points Natalie Earl (Decanter): "The 21ème édition is really in its stride now, although it still has lots of life ahead of it. The aromas seduce immediately with their notes of dainty red currants, peach parfait and glistening strawberry tart. It has lots of energy and tension still, unfolding into notes of marzipan and dried autumn leaves. Based on the 2008 vintage, a fairly cool year, and is a blend of 57 wines back to 2000. Drinking Window: 2024-2038. (4/24/24)"

97 points James Suckling: "This is creamy textured with dried and cooked strawberries as well as iron and mineral undertones. Medium-bodied with real class and focus with a wonderful creamy texture. Subtle and long. Hints of cotton candy. (7/5/23)"

96 points (18/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "The rosé has a pale color and a fresh nose of red fruit. It then takes on a much more complex dimension, with a very fresh, long finish that makes it a must at the table. (2019)"

96 points Wine Enthusiast: "This wine has richness, maturity and intensity. It offers so many complexities and layers of flavor that come together in a red-fruit-flavored, lightly toasty wine that has freshness as well as some age. Drink now. Alcohol 12.5%. (Dec 2018)"

95+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "ID #216015 The Krug Brut Rosé “21ème Édition” is from the beautiful base year of 2008, with the oldest reserve wine in the blend going back to 2000. The wine was disgorged in the spring of 2015 and is a blend of fifty-one percent pinot noir, forty-one percent chardonnay and eight percent pinot meunier. Ten percent of the pinot noir in the blend is still red wine from Krug’s own parcels of vines in the village of Aÿ. The blend is a slight departure from many releases of Krug Rosé, as hail in the village of Ste. Ghemme in 2008 dramatically cut back the quality of pinot meunier from this vintage, so that Chef de Caves Eric Lebel opted to use all reserve wines for the pinot meunier portion of the blend. The very complex wine offers up the characteristically refined and gently exotic bouquet that this cuvée is cherished for, wafting from the glass in a blend of cherries, a touch of pomegranate, orange peel, beautiful, savory spice elements, rye bread, a complex base of soil tones , dried rose petals and incipient smokiness. On the palate the wine is full, complex and still quite youthful in terms of structure, with vibrant acids, a lovely core, elegant mousse and a very long, perfectly balanced and seamless finish. This is already beautifully complex, but I would love to revisit it five to ten years down the road and see what the passage of time does to this beautiful constellation of aromas and flavors. 2018-2050. (Nov/Dec 2017)"

95 points Wine Spectator: "Aromatic, with orchard blossom, ginger and kumquat hints, this vibrant rosé shows a beautiful marriage of intense acidity and flavor range, allowing notes of peach skin, blood orange granita, toasted coconut and Marcona almond to play and expand on the palate as they ride the lovely, lacy mousse. Offers a lasting, racy finish. Disgorged Spring 2016. Drink now through 2025. (6/30/18)"

95 points Peter Moser (Falstaff): "Light salmon pink in colour with gold reflections and a fine mousse. Somewhat shy on the nose, with aromas of fine cherry compote. subtle peach and candied orange zest, with some subtle tobacco and herbal spice. The palate has medium complexity, with integrated acidity, subtle sweetness and fine yellow tropical fruit, peach, and a touch of red berries. Already developed, this has a rather uncomplicated style, which is not showing its full potential at the moment. (11/5/23)"
