Oechsle and was fermented spontaneously in stainless-steel tank down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (41 g/l). It proves hugely reductive and still marked by residues from its spontaneous fermentation and needs quite some time to reveal a fresh and herbal nose of almond cream, white flowers, lime, yuzu, greengage, rosemary, flint stone, and lavender. The wine has a nice creaminess of fruits on the palate, before the acidity comes through and leads the pace in the long and focused finish. The after-taste is already more off-dry than fruity. This Kabinett needs a couple of years and has quite some potential. 2028-2036+. (Dec 2022)"
