95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Ripe and suave with a great balance of peachy fruit, a minty note and really elegant acidity. The long, chalky finish is very graceful. A serious wine that's relatively easy to understand. Drink or hold. (9/19/18)"

94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2017 Keller Kirchspiel GG is another outstanding wine, but it had the bad luck to have to follow in the wake of the otherworldly Pettenthal in the tasting this year. The nose here is refined and complex, offering up scents of tangerine, pink grapefruit, a superb base of limestone minerality, spring flowers, a hint of petrol, citrus peel and a gentle dollop of wild yeasts in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, vibrant and nascently complex, with impeccable balance, bright acids and excellent focus and grip on the very long, snappy finish. 2027-2085. (May/Jun 2018)"

94 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "Bright lime and grapefruit are allied with a vivid impression of chalk suffusion, intimated on the nose and then featured on a silken palate. The sense of sheer extract-richness here is formidable. But whereas I tend to think of the mineral character promoted by Kirchspiel – especially in a vintage with high acidity – as conducive to severity and austerity, the texture and generous juiciness on display in this instance make for a Riesling that is infectiously approachable even at this early stage. Chalky and ashen notes lend intrigue while salinity serves for saliva-inducement on a gripping, vibrant, not to mention downright refreshing finish. Drink: 2019-2033. (Jul 2019)"

19.5/20 points Julia Harding, MW (JancisRobinson.com): "To be bottled August 2018. Vines planted 1965. Yield 3 t/ha. 90% is the Turm parcel, which has the poorest and most rocky soil. A definite herbal nose in this vintage. Intensely mineral citrus at its foundation, with a touch of spice that seems to come from the minerality. Wow. This is absolutely stunning in its concentration but it is precise and incredibly pure, very very mineral but still with the elegance of Kirchspiel. There’s power but seemingly without effort, nothing brash or showy, it’s all in the most elegant style. Endlessly long. A fantastic combination of intensity and finesse. A slightly sour-citrus aftertaste – salty – that is perfectly in keeping with the whole. Hard to do this wine justice in a few words but the pedigree of site and winemaker are clear. Drinking Window: 2022-2035. (2/17/18)"
