96 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Keller's 2019 Kirchspiel Riesling GG opens puristic and chalky on the nose with lemon oil and woodruff aromas. Juicy, round and rich on the palate, with smooth suppleness, fine tannins and a stimulating kick on the finish, this is a less puristic but juicy and intense Riesling of great class. Drink: 2023-2040. (Apr 2021)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Keller family’s 2019 Kirchspiel Riesling Grosses Gewächs is totally stunning on both the nose and the palate. The bouquet is very pure, very precise and oh, so complex, wafting from the glass in a blend of tart orange, lemon, a gorgeous base of chalky minerality, white flowers, lemongrass and just a whisper of wild yeasts in the upper register. On the palate the wine is racy, full-bodied and seamlessly balanced, with snappy acids, a great core of fruit, stunning mineral drive and grip and marvelous backend lift on the very long and nascently complex finish. This wine is tightly-knit out of the blocks and will demand some cellaring, but I have never tasted a better young Kirchspiel from Klaus-Peter! 2031-2085. (Jan/Feb 2021)"

96 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Still waters run deep! Warm and ripe, yet such delicate mirabelle aromas with a ton of herbal overtones. Concentrated and well structured, but also with lovely juiciness. Then comes the long, vibrant and energetic finish that's full of spice. Drink or hold. (8/16/20)"

93+ points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 19 20. The 2019er Kirchspiel Riesling, as it is referred to on the consumer label, is a bone-dry wine which proves initially quite reductive and only gradually reveals an earthy and spicy nose of herbs, grapefruit, pear, lime, and greengage. It starts off on a juicy and pear-driven side on the palate, but leaves one with a great sense of focus in the spicy, salty, and bone-dry finish. A touch of herbal and tannic tartness still needs to integrate in the after-taste, something which should have happened in a decade or so. This beautiful dry Riesling may then well turn out even better than our high expectations. 2029-2044+. (Oct 2020)"
