94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Kirchspiel Kabinett is a touch riper than the Limestone bottling, as the wine comes in at nine percent octane this year. It is also more precise and defined by its underlying minerality on both the nose and palate, with the bouquet wafting from the glass in a very complex blend of pear, lemon blossoms, wild yeasts, bee pollen, a very complex base of salty limestone minerality and a hint of white lilies. On the palate the wine is bright, medium-full and youthful, with a lovely core, great mineral drive and grip, snappy acids and a very, very long, nascently complex and tightly-knit finish. This is structured like a GG in certain respects and really will demand some bottle age before it starts to drink with generosity. It will be a great bottle once it is ready to start drinking. 2028-2070. (Sep/Oct 2022)"

94 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "This first Keller Kirchspiel Kabinett since 2008 comes exclusively from the same 1964 planting that routinely informs the corresponding Grosses Gewächs. The combination of clarity, lift and animation here is remarkable. Keller puts it aptly when he says: “Kirchspiel wants to dance” – and when the Kirchspiel in question is a Kabinett, all the more so. The nose delivers a full basket of herbs and flowers with a high-toned essence of pear and tangy, saline evocations of lime zest and sea breeze. The silken feel and discreet sweetness beautifully reinforce the succulence of fruit, while bright citricity and pronounced salinity trigger salivation. The lusciously and brightly lingering, consummately refreshing finish is transparent to floral and green herbal nuances as well as hints of coriander seed and iris root. Keller associates the “precision and salinity” of this wine with the whitest limestone and least topsoil section of Kirchspiel. Drink: 2022-2048. (Mar 2023)"
