89-91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "From vines planted in 1942. All destemmed, 15% new wood, not yet bottled. The soil is clay, but not too heavy. Light crimson purple, the bouquet is really quite fine in a sweet cherry style with less evident heat compared to the first two. Indeed, the Aloxe has come in below 14%. Fine long finish, good texture without any firm tannins. (Dec 2020)"

Producer notes: "Notes of crushed strawberry, red currant, blood orange, and a hint of florality flow from the glass. The texture is fine and seamless, with a core of minerality that keeps everything in balance."
