94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "1998 was the final vintage for Robert Jasmin at the helm of the family estate, though with son Patrick having worked at his father’s side since 1984, there is little doubt that this vintage was a collaborative affair. The wine is absolutely gorgeous today, albeit, only really starting to get comfortable at its apogee at twenty-five years of age. The bouquet delivers a refined aromatic constellation of black raspberries, grilled meats, pepper, black olive, woodsmoke, hazelnuts and a beautiful topnote of lavender. On the palate the wine is pure, focused and full-bodied, with the great delineation of elements that comes with time to all of the Jasmin wines. The wine shows off beautiful depth of fruit, excellent mineral drive and grip., modest tannins and a very long, vibrant and complex finish. Fine, fine juice. 2023-2060. (May/Jun 2023)"
