97-100 points Nicolas Greinacher (Vinous): "The 2022 Côte-Rôtie Côte Brune is a head-turner. Explosive blood orange, rose petal, raspberry, blueberry, cedar, crushed rock and violet aromas exhale from the glass. Bursting with purity and intensity yet remaining almost weightless in the mouth, the 2022 is flat-out stunning. It will be fascinating to compare it with the monumental 2020 and 2021 renditions. For now, the 2022 Côte Brune is well on its way to rank alongside its preceding vintages. Drink: 2028-2042. (Mar 2024)"

98 points CellarTracker.com community score.

97 points Matt Walls (Decanter): "Beautiful aromas of pure rose, a touch of raspberry and thyme, this is not all black fruits. Lovely flavours, really compelling this year. Tannins are silkier than a classic Côte-Rôtie, but still quite austere, with great energy and length. Will be lovely, with great aromatic complexity and structure, but not as rich in body and smooth in texture as, say, 2020. Nonetheless excellent, but you'll need patience. Whole-bunch fermented, matured in old demi-muids. Drinking Window: 2033-2044. (9/18/23)"

95-97 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The single vineyard 2022 Côte Rôtie Côte Brune is cut from the same cloth yet has slightly more floral nuances as well as a touch more finesse in its tannins. Wild strawberries, violets, spring flowers, and some meaty notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with beautiful overall balance and a gorgeous finish. It's another gorgeous wine in the making. (3/28/24)"
