96 points Matt Walls (Decanter): "A tasting through the different terroirs in this wine revealed a fresh, intense, highly structured year; not as generous as 2019 or 2020, certainly more austere, and will take longer to come round. Many of the samples had an appealing floral expression, occasionally with herbal nuances from the use of whole bunches, and often really quite dark, dense black fruit on the palate. Tannins, while not green, are decidedly tight and will take time to finesse. A vintage where patience is required and which I suspect will shut down shortly after bottling. Drinking Window: 2032-2045. (9/18/23)"

95 points Nicolas Greinacher (Vinous): "The 2022 Côte-Rôtie is alluring and complex, with ripe black fruit, crushed violet, iodine, graphite and cedar notes alongside stemmy, spicy hints. Medium-bodied yet markedly concentrated, the 2022 shines with flawless elegance and an elongated, expansive finish. Sleek tannins underpin this expressive Côte-Rôtie. This is a fantastic Jamet not to be missed by anyone fortunate enough to latch into a bottle. Drink: 2029-2040. (Jan 2025)"

93-95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "As is normal at this domaine, I was able to taste the 2022 Côte Rôtie as multiple components from throughout the appellation. All the barrels rated between 93-97 and have classic Jamet character, with medium to full-bodied richness, plenty of tannins, and the riper, richer style of this sunnier vintage. I think it's going to be a step up over the 2021, but it will require patience. (3/28/24)"
