96 points Matt Walls (Decanter): "A tasting through the different terroirs in this wine revealed a fresh, intense, highly structured year; not as generous as 2019 or 2020, certainly more austere, and will take longer to come round. Many of the samples had an appealing floral expression, occasionally with herbal nuances from the use of whole bunches, and often really quite dark, dense black fruit on the palate. Tannins, while not green, are decidedly tight and will take time to finesse. A vintage where patience is required and which I suspect will shut down shortly after bottling. Drinking Window: 2032-2045. (9/18/23)"

94-96 points Nicolas Greinacher (Vinous): "I tasted six separately vinified and representative lieux-dit samples that will curate the final blend of the 2022 Côte-Rôtie. It isbecoming a distinctively floral Jamet, leaning toward black rather than red fruits. Ferrous gradations and spicy elements will undoubtedly make their appearance in the final blend, adding even more complexity. Framed by ripe yet powdery tannins, the 2022 shows ample concentration and spot-on balance. Utterly seductive even at this young age, this is shaping up to be quite an alluring Côte-Rôtie. Drink: 2028-2040. (Mar 2024)"

93-95 points Jeb Dunnuck: "As is normal at this domaine, I was able to taste the 2022 Côte Rôtie as multiple components from throughout the appellation. All the barrels rated between 93-97 and have classic Jamet character, with medium to full-bodied richness, plenty of tannins, and the riper, richer style of this sunnier vintage. I think it's going to be a step up over the 2021, but it will require patience. (3/28/24)"
