91-95 points Fine Wine Review: "In premier cru, the Nuits-Boudots, from Gagey’s plot, which is adjacent to that of Leroy, shows violets and dark fruit with roundness, length, and finesse. It is a fine representative of this, one of the best premiers crus. (2/12/17)"

93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Boudots parcel is owned by the Gagey family and has consistently been one of my favorite premier crus in the Maison Jadot lineup for many years now. The 2010 version is a great classic and will once again be a great sleeper. The bouquet is deep, pure and utterly refined, as it offers up scents of plums, red and black cherries, coffee, raw cocoa, a beautiful base of complex soil tones, woodsmoke and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with a sappy core of fruit, ripe tannins, lovely transparency and outstanding length and grip on the tangy and very elegant finish. A beautiful bottle of Nuits in the making. 2018-2050. (NovDec 2011)"

93 points/'Cellar Selection,' Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is solid and tannic, with a foursquare structure. Under the dry tannins, there are dense flavors of damson and plum. Give this wine at least five years of aging. Alcohol 13.5%. (Apr 2013)"

92+ points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "[$120 list] Bright medium red. Restrained, pure aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, cinnamon, mint, herbs and flowers. Juicy and sharply delineated, with lovely floral delicacy to the perfumed red berry and spice flavors. Finishes perfumed, vibrant and very long, but still quite tight, with fine-grained dusty tannins. This will need at least several years to open and expand, but it offers superb potential. (Mar 2013)"

92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A notably spicy and attractively perfumed nose of earth, cassis, plum and a hint of the sauvage gives way to refined yet overtly powerful flavors that possess so much dry extract that they come across as velvety and forward just until the mildly austere finish where the character changes to a chewy, dusty and very serious finale that is trimmed in a very deft application of wood. This is a relatively big 2010 with plenty of muscle and fine aging potential. Drink: 2022+. (Apr 2013)"

92 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$120 list] Pure, exuding cherry, raspberry and spice flavors, with a hint of earth and mineral. Balanced and bright, offering a firm, chalky sensation on the finish. Displays a lingering aftertaste of fruit and stone. Best from 2017 through 2033. 161 cases imported. (6/15/13)"
