92-94 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru, which lies adjacent to Philippe Charlopin's (in fact, both were bought at the same time), has a very impressive dark berry, sous-bois, incense and iris-scented bouquet that is beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine balance and structure. There are layers of dark berry fruit here laced with chalk and a dash of black pepper, but what really elevates this is the precision and focus on the finish -- one of the best amongst Louis Jadot's wines. This is an outstanding Clos Saint-Denis that will give 20-30 years of pleasure. (Dec 2016)"
90-94 points Fine Wine Review: "The nose here shows ginger and Asian spices. The mouth is light, spicy, with clarity. The alcohol is about 13.8-14º, but one doesn’t sense that it in any way. The wine shows energy, firmness, and has a tannic finish. (2/13/17)"
91-93 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Bright medium red. Burnished oak scents add another dimension to aromas and flavors of redcurrant, raspberry, dried flowers and soil. Lovely savory, silky wine with serious breadth and richness. At once saline and sweet, this plush wine finishes with excellent length and no hard edges. (Jan 2017)"
90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Discreet wood and menthol nuances still easily allow the overtly sauvage and earth-inflected aromas of red and dark currant to be appreciated. The concentrated yet relatively supple medium weight flavors possess a velvety mouth feel before culminating in a lingering if slightly warm finale where a hint of bitter cherry arises. This is not super complex but more depth will undoubtedly develop over time. Drink: 2027+. (Apr 2017)"
