95-97 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2014 Chambertin Grand Cru has a lot of finesse and composure on the nose and to be honest, it shows the 2014 Mazis-Chambertin how it's done -- very focused and complex with great tension and energy. The palate is very well balanced with fine, supple tannin. It is beautifully focused, very natural and effortless with a lingering, minerally finish that goes on and on. This is predictably one of the standouts from Jadot this year. Drink: 2018-2040. (Dec 2015)"

95 points Decanter: "Superb rose petal and spice aromas intermingled with red fruit. The palate is dense and velvety with a savoury finish. A wine of wonderful intensity and great elegance."

93-95 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "As is often the case this is at once aromatically cooler and more subdued but even so there is simply knockout complexity to the gorgeously spicy dark berry fruit mélange of spice, game, earth and floral elements. The imposingly-scaled and overtly powerful flavors possess first-rate concentration and even more minerality before culminating in a driving and explosively long finish. This is one of the biggest and most structured wines of the 2014 vintage and if you either can't, or won't, cellar it for at least 10 to 12 years there is really no point in acquiring it. Drink: 2034+. (Apr 2016)"

91-94 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(raised in Jadot's barrels, one of three new): Deep red with ruby tones. Musky dark berries, roast coffee and medicinal menthol on the nose. Hugely rich and powerful but rather reduced today, showing a distinctly salty character. Quite muscular and backward today, a bit dominated by its tannic spine. I wanted more pliancy and sweetness of fruit; perhaps the wine's last months of élevage will bring out these characteristics. Hard to judge right now. (Jan 2016)"
