The palate is very well balanced with fine, supple tannin. It is beautifully focused, very natural and effortless with a lingering, minerally finish that goes on and on. The imposingly-scaled and overtly powerful flavors possess first-rate concentration and even more minerality before culminating in a driving and explosively long finish. This is one of the biggest and most structured wines of the 2014 vintage and if you either can't, or won't, cellar it for at least 10 to 12 years there is really no point in acquiring it.
