97 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(disgorged February 2011; south-west facing single-vineyard Dizy on the boundary with Ay, planted 1960 on millstone-grit gravel over clayey marl and Campanian chalk; 100% chardonnay; vinified in a 40hL foudre; full malolactic fermentation; aged 8 years on lees; zero dosage; 5300 bottles). This is one of the most profound chardonnays of the Vallée de la Marne, yet from a site where no one believed good chardonnay could be grown, discovered only by the Chiquets when a 1995 vin clair stood out. The mineral impression of this wine is inexplicable, from a site with chalk no less than 2.5 metres under the surface, in a village unrecognised for chardonnay of structure.. Its violent, deep, frothing, salty minerality fills the palate with immense texture, drawn out with incredible persistence by super-focused acidity. Such is its aromatic intensity that I could smell it the moment it was poured on the table before me. Wonderful layers of yellow summer fruits leap out of the glass amid nougat, brioche and almond aromas. Its mineral structure and lively acidity control this intensity on the palate, propagating a finish that does not stop. (2014-2015)"

96 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(blanc de blancs; from magnum). An ultra-pure, elegant and classy nose with plenty of citrus-influence on the green apple, floral and pain grillé suffused aromas. There is terrific intensity to the precise and beautifully deep flavors that do a slow build into an explosive and hugely long finish. I very much like the controlled and notably fine effervescence and this dramatically complex effort clearly has a long way to go in magnum format. In a word, magnificent. Drink: 2022+. (Oct 2015)"

96 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(100% chardonnay, from a one-hectare site planted in 1960; raised in large oak and bottled with no dosage ): Bright yellow-gold. Sexy spice and smoke nuances complicate fresh pear and citrus zest aromas, with an intense mineral quality contributing to the impression of purity. Taut and sharply focused, with strikingly concentrated lemon and orchard fruit flavors and slow-building floral and spice qualities. Finishes precise and very long, with outstanding mineral-driven persistence. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "[$300 list] The 2002 Brut Dizy Corne Bautray is all wild flowers, honey, mint and dried fruit. Six months ago, the 2002 was big and broad-shouldered, but since then it has found a more feminine and graceful side as well. The weight and richness of this 50 year-old parcel comes through beautifully in vivid aromas and flavors that are totally seductive. The Corne Bautray is a wonderfully complete wine that changes constantly in the glass, a quality that will fascinate readers lucky enough to track the wine down for many, many years. (Oct 2012)"

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$300 list] From one of the few Chardonnay vineyards in Dizy, this is a tight wine, with a steely character, very crisp and citric. Even at nine years age, it tastes young, structured, demanding aging. (Dec 2011)"
