94 points James Suckling: "The late-disgorged 737 has praline and creme-brulee aromas with a thread of bread and white stones. The palate is nicely compressed and delivered in a smoothly rendered array of red berries and creamy peach and almond flavors. Drink now. (7/19/18)"

93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in November 2017 with 1.5 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra Brut Cuvée No. 737 Dégorgement Tardif, based on the 2009 vintage, is showing beautifully, bursting with aromas of ripe apples, white flowers, Meyer lemon, clear honey, walnuts and warm biscuits. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and complex, with a fleshy and textural core, lively acids and chalky dry extract. Drink: 2019-2033. (Aug 2019)"

93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2009 base vintage; disgorged November 2017; 43% chardonnay, 30% meunier, 27% pinot noir; 30% reserves; aged 7.5 years on lees under cork for the first time; original release 250,000 bottles and Dégorgement Tardif just 14,640 bottles and 660 magnums; 1.5g/L dosage). Holding prime position among the best Cuvée 700 series releases of the past decade, 737 ranks second only to the sensational 2008 base of 736. It unwound magnificently across its release cycle five years ago, shedding its crystalline brittleness for silky finesse. A glorious 7.5 years on lees has deepened its mood to a full straw hue and heightened its rich complexity with layers of butterscotch, fruit mince spice and gingernut biscuits, while projecting the crunchy apple confidence and grapefruit tension of its youth. It holds its integrity with outstanding line and length, and will continue to age confidently for the next few years. The first 700 series release aged on lees under cork, Jean-Hervé Chiquet is impressed with the freshness and liveliness that this brings, though I am a little troubled by the phenolic bite it lends to the finish. (2020-2021)"

92+ points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The Cuvée No. 737 Dégorgement Tardif shows all the radiance and suppleness of the base 2009 vintage. Racy, silky and polished, with plenty of near-term appeal, the 737 is a gorgeous Champagne to drink now and over the next handful of years. Expressive orchard fruit, mint and white pepper notes are nicely pushed into the foreground. This is the first vintage that is aged on the cork. Disgorged November 2017. Dosage is 2.5 grams per liter. Drink: 2019-2029. (Jul 2018)"
