94 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in March 2024 with three grams per liter dosage, the 2019 Soliste Chardonnay Pierry 1er Cru Les Tartières et Les Porgeons is drawn from two adjacent southeast-facing plots planted in 1985 and 1990, which are pressed and vinified together. Aged in approximately 30% new oak, it unfurls from the glass with aromas of candied lemon peel and early-blooming white flowers, mingling with notes of sandalwood and pastry. Full-bodied and generously structured, it is ample and enveloping, with a concentrated core of fruit supported by ripe yet vibrant acidity. Notably, this cuvée is served after the Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir during tastings—a reflection of its gastronomic gravitas and assertive power, which starkly contrasts with the more restrained style of its Côte des Blancs counterparts. Drink: 2025-2034. (7/17/25)"
93 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(100% Chardonnay). South-East facing mid-slope Pierry plots of Les Tartières et Les Porgeons were chosen by Jean-Marc Sélèque for his site-specific Chardonnay cuvée. An expressive nose with lush, roasted pineapple fruit with sweet vanilla and candy tones adding onto its charms. Tightly structured yet rich at the same time, this finely crafted wine will reward further ageing. (Mar 2024)"
92 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Soliste Chardonnay 2019 is a model of purity, vibrant with tension and permeated by a chalky minerality. (2026)"
