95+ points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "The standout bottling in the Soliste series this year, the 2019 Soliste Pinot Noir Pierry 1er Cru Les Gayères originates from west-facing Pinot Noir vines planted in 1974, where clay and silt rest atop chalk subsoils. Fermented and matured entirely in oak barrels (approximately 20% new), it was disgorged in March 2024 with a dosage of two grams per liter. The nose is redolent of peach, bitter orange and dried flowers mingled with pastry and a faint hint of resin. Medium- to full-bodied, it is concentrated and layered—ample and balanced—with succulent yet racy acidity and a long, saline finish. Like the rest of the Soliste range, this wine is sourced from a parcel cultivated exclusively by horse. Drink: 2026-2034. (7/17/25)"

93 points Essi Avellan, MW: "100% Pinot Noir. The varietal Soliste range echoes Pierry terroirs. This 2019 based Pinot Noir originates in the sunny, west-facing, mid-slope plot of Les Gayères. There is a peachy tinge to the colour. The nose is expressive with notable oaky presence and spice laden sumptuous fruitiness. The palate comes with a fine interplay of intensity and tension. A fine, structured Pinot Noir where the oakiness with mellow down further over time. (Mar 2024)"

93 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The 2019 Pinot Noir Soliste, more dense, fully expresses the maturity and depth of the vintage. We consider it to be the most accomplished wine in the series. (2026)"
