93 points Kristaps Karklins (Wine Advocate): "Disgorged in April 2024 with a dosage of two grams per liter, Sélèque’s 2019 Soliste Meunier Pierry 1er Cru Les Gouttes d'Or is produced from old Pinot Meunier vines—planted between 1951 and 1968 with heritage massal selections—rooted in a mere 35 centimeters of clay-silt topsoil overlying soft chalk bedrock. This is a warmer vineyard site, situated near the city, and it is typically among the first plots harvested. The wine opens with an expressive bouquet of orange zest, blanched almonds, toasted bread and a faint hint of coriander seed. On the palate, it is full-bodied, textural and enveloping, with a concentrated core of fruit underpinned by vibrant acidity, concluding with a persistent, subtly perfumed finish. Drink: 2025-2033. (7/17/25)"
92 points Essi Avellan, MW: "100% Meunier. A curious Meunier from the chalky Chardonnay terroir of La Goutte d’Or in Pierry. This 2019 edition comes with a fragrantly floral Meunier nose supported by mildly spicy oak notes. There is lovely lightness and brightness to the wine that shows vivacious and minerally refereshing on the long, intense palate. (Mar 2024)"
