93 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2021 Riesling Wallufer Oberberg Spätlese is shy on the nose, shimmering with an aglint of grapefruit peel. The palate has a lovely creaminess that embraces the gentle orange-flesh-like sweetness. The supple palate ripples off gentle yeast. This is a very mild, off-dry Spätlese that seems a total classic. The finish coalesces around yeast. All is an understatement, with 33g/L of residual sweetness pitched against a thrilling 9.3g/L of acidity. (Off-dry) Drink: 2025-2050. (Dec 2023)"
92 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Becker's 2021 Wallufer Oberberg Riesling Spätlese is intensely aromatic but refined and rather coolish on the elegant nose. Round and lush on the palate, with fine salinity and generous but elegant fruit, this is a silky-textured Riesling. It is grippy and savory on the fine, saline and persistent finish and reveals the typical fine tannins of the Oberberg on the aftertaste. 11% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the domaine in Walluf in September 2023. Drink: 2025-2045. (12/29/23)"
