93 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2021 Riesling Eltviller Sonnenberg Spätlese combines flinty stone, crushed rock and a flicker of passion fruit on its citric nose. The palate is rounded with gentle sweetness, bringing ripe Navel orange flesh and notions of fruit and herb tisane with an edge of grapefruit. This is so quiet yet so disarming. Beautiful, zesty, pristine and vivid. The finish is long and balanced at 7.4g/L acidity and 19g/L sweetness. (Off-dry) Drink: 2025-2050. (Dec 2023)"
92 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Becker's 2021 Wallufer Oberberg Riesling Spätlese is intensely aromatic but refined and rather coolish on the elegant nose. Round and lush on the palate, with fine salinity and generous but elegant fruit, this is a silky-textured Riesling. It is grippy and savory on the fine, saline and persistent finish and reveals the typical fine tannins of the Oberberg on the aftertaste. 11% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the domaine in Walluf in September 2023. Drink: 2025-2045. (12/29/23)"
