95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "A very cool and tightly-wound Rheingau Auslese that will needs some further bottle age to reveal its considerable depths. At the moment the main aromas are caramelized red apple brioche and mangosteen, which might sound like a weird combination, but works extremely well. Long, finely chiselled finish. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2026. Glass stopper. (11/24/22)"

94 points CellarTracker.com community score.

93 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Becker's 2021 Wallufer Berg Bildstock Riesling Auslese opens with a generous, elegant, earthy as well as concentrated and fruity bouquet with stone fruit and grapefruit nuances on the savory and lemony nose. Full-bodied, intense and structured on the palate, this is a rich but firm and persistent Riesling with a saline and finely tannic finish. It is a gastronomic Riesling rather than a sweet Auslese, and it tastes off-dry rather than sweet. 12% stated alcohol. Glass stopper. Tasted at the domaine in Walluf in September 2023. Drink: 2026-2047. (12/29/23)"
