Now, 16 different vinifications are made, sourced from various expositions on the volcanic hill of Foscarino. Some undergo malo, some extended maceration, some are vinified reductively, and some are vinified oxidatively. One-third is aged in large cask, one-third in used barrique, and one-third in stainless steel for six months before blending, then a further six months in stainless steel. The result is hugely sapid and vertical, showcasing a vibrant splash of nectarine among citrus and floral orange blossom. There's just a hint of creaminess in the background, with a finish that's both stony and woody. Drinking window 2023-2033 (Nov 2023)"
