94 points Falstaff Guide: "Bright straw yellow with green glints. On the nose intriguing and deep, ripe stone fruit and hints of white peach, chamomile and elderflower. In the flow creamy and round, animating, refreshing acidity, persistent, salty finish. (12/1/23)"
93 points Eric Guido (Vinous): "The 2021 Soave Classico Foscarino seduces with a rich blend of lemony custard, hazelnut, young peach and wet stone. Luxuriously round and silky in feel, this finds a beautiful balance through its core of mineral-drenched pit-fruits and brisk acidity. It finishes with incredible length and staining concentration, leaving a chalky sensation as the mouth waters for more. The 2021 Foscarino is beautiful today yet also built for the cellar. It was refined on lees for six months in a combination of barrique, large oak and steel, with bâtonnage every three weeks, followed by six months in stainless steel on fine lees. Drink: 2025-2032. (Feb 2024)"
93 points Ned Goodwin, MW (JamesSuckling.com): "Another brilliant expression, reflecting a culture of kaleidoscopic blending to attain a greater whole: tank and oak (no new) ferments, partly induced and spontaneous, all at once. Rapier-like precision, depth and weight, without any excess or obvious winemaking artefact perceivable. Mid-weighted, yet intense, reeling off notes of smoked almond, stone fruit allusions, pickled mango and kumquat. The finish is impressively pliant and majestically long. (4/7/23)"
93 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "Showing beautiful aromatic intensity, the 2021 Soave Classico Foscarino pours from the bottle with soft orchard fruit, tropical tones and a distinctive mineral note of crushed oyster shell or volcanic ash. This wine has a pleasant creamy, mid-weight approach with more pretty fruit flavors on the close. This vintage of Foscarino hits the spot. Drink: 2023-2030. (Oct 2023)"
93 points Decanter: "Foscarino used to be 100% barrique aged, but the style was adjusted about two years ago to help ‘underline the character of the place’, as Alessio Inama put it when I met him in London. Now, 16 different vinifications are made, sourced from various expositions on the volcanic hill of Foscarino. Some undergo malo, some extended maceration, some are vinified reductively, and some are vinified oxidatively. One-third is aged in large cask, one-third in used barrique, and one-third in stainless steel for six months before blending, then a further six months in stainless steel. The result is hugely sapid and vertical, showcasing a vibrant splash of nectarine among citrus and floral orange blossom. There's just a hint of creaminess in the background, with a finish that's both stony and woody. Drinking Window: 2023-2033. (Nov 2023)"
