93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a holding of 20 to 25 year old vines that total .91 ha). Subtle wood sets off the cool and admirably pure combination of both red and dark currant, floral and a hint of the sauvage. There is excellent intensity to the much more mineral-driven and delineated medium weight flavors that possess markedly better depth and length on the powerful but refined finale. This is a first rate example of the vineyard and worth your interest. Drink: 2022+. (Jan 2017)"

93 points Tim Atkin, MW (2016).

92 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Dark red with ruby highlights Arresting scents of black fruits, espresso, crushed-rock minerality and bitter chocolate; at once cool and ripe Showing its oak component today, which Emmanuel Humbert believes is due to the wine's strong rocky component There's also lovely dark fruit sweetness here along with a powerful tannic spine This deep but youthfully disjointed wine will need at least five more years of cellaring to resolve its tannins Still, it presents an almost creamy texture enlivened by the racy acidity of the best 2014s A violet topnote lifts the finish. Drink: 2024-2032. (Mar 2017)"
