94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "As is also the case with the 2023 Le Mount Moelleux, the Clos du Bourg Moelleux comes in at 12.5 percent octane in this vintage. The bouquet is deep and pure, offering up scents of sweet quince, fresh pineapple, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones, a touch of fresh apricot, heather, ginger honey and musky floral tones in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a stunning core of fruit, lovely soil inflection, good acids and a poised, complex and seamlessly balanced, long finish. This has more mid-palate amplitude than the Le Mont Moelleux, so presents a slightly more opulent rendition of Moelleux, but is equally refined and will also be a classic over the course of the coming sixty years or so! 2024-2085. (May/Jun 2024)"
94 points Wine Spectator: "Juicy, full and extremely elegant, with notes of warm apple and baking spices contrasted with bitter dried lemon peel and chamomile tea. Thanks to the savory, saline energy and racy edge, this is rich yet not heavy, offering a lot of dimension and finishing clean and pure, with impressive length. At the drier, very food-friendly end of the moelleux spectrum. Drink now through 2037. 74 cases made (11/30/24)"
