89 points Ines Salpico (Decanter): "(60% Touriga Nacional, 40% Tempranillo). A tribute to Mariana Alcoforado (1640-1723), a cloistered nun thought to have written the famous (and infamous) Cartas Portuguesas ('Portuguese Letters') to her secret lover, there's something of a veiled intensity to this pink rosé, evoking secretiveness with its gentle depth. It blends 60% Touriga Nacional and 40% Aragonez (Tempranillo) and coats the red berries and white orchard fruit with a touch of blanched almond and hay. Alcohol 12.5%. Drinking Window: 2025-2027. (Jun 2025)"
Producer notes: "Very limited skin contact in the press. Cold fermentation for 14 days with wild yeasts. Easygoing, vivaciously fruity, and very fresh, the Mariana shows notes of bright red berries, elderflower, and melon. A great summer sipper on its own or with seafood, oysters, or pizza. 12.5%."
