94-96 points Essi Avellan, MW: "Medium-deep lemon color. Rich and charred nose, with plenty of sweet appeal. Tropical fruit, ripe orchard fruit, and lots of sweet spiciness. The plush palate is expressive and well-built, with everything in place. Long, juicy finish of good fruit purity and freshness. 2023–36. (Oct 2023)"

95 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; 50% chardonnay, 50% pinot noir; principally from Verzy, Verzenay, Trépail, Avenay, Avize and Vertus; 5g/L dosage; disgorged October 2022). Tasted the week of its release in one of its component vineyards (Avenay-val-d’Or) on the day of harvest 2023, the crunchiness, zestiness and freshness on display here belie its nine years of age, a testimony to the coiled energy and potential of the elegant 2014 season and the exacting craftsmanship of Laurent Fresnet. Citrus is the key theme here – lemon and grapefruit – with the crunch of beurre bosc pear and the tang of strawberry hull. A glittering display of chalk minerality makes for a spectacularly lively structure, energised by vibrant 2014 acidity, setting a path to tremendous longevity. (2023)"

95 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2025).

93 points Tom Hewson (Decanter): "Henriot's take on the bright 2014 vintage is characteristically taut, perhaps even closed upon release, showing the house’s signature reductive style with touches of peppery smoke, grapefruit and a little papaya juiciness, with the beginnings of a little praline and brown pastry richness building. Even if it's not hugely concentrated or acid-focused, it's all held in a rather tense state at present; this could be a smart buy for the cellar. 50% each Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from grands and premiers crus, vinified in stainless steel. Aged on lees for eight years. Drinking Window: 2024-2032. (Mar 2024)"

93 points Sarah Mayo (The Wine Independent): "The Henriot Millésime 2014 is a 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay blend that includes six distinct Chardonnay cru in the blend. It floats out of the glass with very pretty, ripe citrus notes accented by lemon blossom and acacia honey, then illuminates the medium-bodied palate with bright and assertive acidity, precision red fruit concentration and a long, creamy finish with a pleasant chalky grip. Classic, clean, and fresh, this is well-made and enjoyable throughout. Disgorged October 2022 with five grams per liter dosage. Alcohol 12.5%. Drink: 2023-2035. (11/8/23)"

93 points Claire Nesbitt (JamesSuckling.com): "Showing floral notes of acacia and jasmine alongside sourdough, lemons and green apples. Walnuts and apricots, too. Open and inviting, with gentle nutty undertones, a medium to full body and a fine mousse. Long and persistent. 50% chardonnay and 50% pinot noir. Disgorged October 2022. This will be released later in 2023. Drink or hold. (7/5/23)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$120 list] Bright acidity buoys fruit flavors of Meyer lemon, white raspberry, lime peel and grapefruit sorbet in this well-meshed Champagne. Underpinnings of smoke, oyster shell, pastry cream and vanilla biscuit add depth and richness before lingering on the creamy finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Drink now through 2035. (4/28/25)"
