93-95 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The 2023 Riesling Niederhäuser Klamm in der Rossel Grosses Gewächs is the first time this is made into a GG. It hails from a sub-parcel called Rossel, which is within the Klamm Grosse Lage, on a site of porphyry and shale. It was made half in stainless steel and half in wood. The shy nose gives subtle creaminess. The palate brings vivid smoothness, holding a touch of pine resin that verges into orange zest. There is a gentleness, a softness, yet also once again naked, thrilling stone. (Bone-dry) Drink: 2028-2050. (Sep 2024)"
94+ points Ulrich Sautter (Falstaff): "Dried lemon peel, grapefruit, slate and fine savouriness on the nose. On the palate, the wine is dense and firm, a ripe acidity carries the broad body, dry phenolics and supple motifs form the contrast that carries the finish. A remarkable first wine. (11/11/24)"
93 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Klamm In der Rossel Niederhausen Riesling GG has fine, ripe yet intense, concentrated fruit. Elegant, fresh and zesty on the tightly woven palate, this is elegant and stimulating salty and developing good length. This is one of the finest wines of the vintage from this producer, who has a whole range of outstanding sites. Tasted at the Vorpremiere VDP.Grosses Gewächs in Wiesbaden in August 2024. Drink: 2024-2038. (Oct 2024)"
