The wine is rich and opulent on the palate, but a silky finesse helps the wine avoid heaviness. The grapes are from 65-year-old vines planted in clay soils in the 2.5ha lieu-dit Champ Rond; the grapes are gently pressed and fermented and aged in 800L terracotta amphorae. Although this wine is expressive now, it will open in three to five years and drink well over the next two decades. Drinking Window: 2028-2045. (11/2/24)"
